A Story of Hope & Possibility

The Achilles Hope & Possibility®

is one of the largest inclusive races of its kind in the U.S., welcoming athletes of all ability levels and wounded, ill or injured veterans.

Achilles Hope & Possibility® was founded in 2003 by Trisha Meili, founding board chair of Achilles International, and Dick Traum, Achilles founder and former CEO, who sought to create a race for the disability community to come together with all runners.

In 2015, on the initiative of O. Saranchuluun, the founder of Achilles Mongolia, the “Hope and Possibility – Ulaanbaatar” public run, which was organized in cooperation with Arig Bank, have annually hosted on the 2nd Saturday of September, under the auspices of the president.

To promote the active participation of people with disabilities in society through running.
