Altangerel Byambajav, born on 12th of June, 1990, works at Tugeemel Hugjil center.
When he was 1-year-old, he got vaccinated and suffered severe back injuries that caused him to get confined to a wheelchair.
In 2019, he started volunteering at Achilles International Mongolia with his family warm-heartedly. He finished the full marathon line within 2 hours and half in the TCS NYC Virtual Marathon 2020 and 2021. After 6 months, he was able to finish in 1:38:00 in the Berlin Marathon-2021. He plans to reach a goal of 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Chicago Marathon-2022 and trains 3-4 times a week.
